Swimming makes me feel good in every way. Water is my element. All it takes is diving in, and everything takes on a different dimension. Time slows down, my mind clears from usual thoughts, and all my muscles work, ensuring their tone. The sound of water and my breathing blend together, creating a harmonious symbiosis. My arms and legs are free to unleash their energy, making movements that would be impossible to perform and coordinate outside the water. Sometimes I swim calmly, while other times I pick up a more intense rhythm. The marathon runnerโs logic takes over my mind: I start slow and steady, then speed up toward the end of the swim. At the end, my breathing quickens, my heartbeat rises, but I donโt stop until I feel exhausted, swimming as hard as I can, as if there were no tomorrow. Indeed, I feel this inner strength driving me forward, a force I compare to horns, given that my zodiac sign is Capricorn, which, of course, has horns. Itโs the same strength that has accompanied me throughout my life, especially during tough times, but I feel it much more vividly and intensely while swimming. In conclusion, swimming is a way to release tension, so besides being an excellent physical exercise, itโs also a balm for the mind.
